St. Peters Health Partners is seeking a full-time inpatient general adult Psychiatrist to join our adult inpatient behavioral health team at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. Samaritan Hospital offers a comprehensive behavioral health program with 63 inpatient beds across three specialized unitsMental Health, MICA (Mentally Ill Chemically Addicted), and Gero-Psychiatry. Our interdisciplinary team delivers compassionate, patient-centered care addressing the medical, psychiatric, and social needs of adults in our community.

Position Details

• Provide inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients on a 30-bed adult mental health unit-shared between 2 psychiatrists
• Work closely with Hospitalists, specialists, and community-based providers
• Join a collaborative team environment including counselors, therapists, case managers, psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners
• Call Rotation: 1:6 weekends

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• DEA and New York State licensure (or eligibility) required
• Experience in an inpatient setting preferred
• Strong clinical skills, communication skills, and commitment to team-based care
• New and recent graduates are encouraged to apply

Recruitment Package:  St. Peters Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:

• Competitive base salary including starting bonus;
• Compensation is between $310,000 and $350,000
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
